_Who am I? No, really?
I'm Amy Josuweit - author, thespian, journalist, incessant gamer, and general ne'er-do-well. I also juggle and ride a unicycle. If my writing career doesn't turn out, I can run away and join the circus.
I am a member of Alpha Psi Omega National Honors Fraternity for the Dramatics, and a member of the Bloomsburg Players. In college, I was a contributing writer for "BU Now", a staff writer and copy-editor for "The Voice" newspaper, and tutored for a semester at the Bloomsburg University Writing Center. Throw in some acting and video editing, 4-5 years at each, and you've got my college life neatly wrapped up.
As of 2012, I began freelance writing. Since then, I've worked with VR-Zone, The Mary Sue, and more personal projects than I can count.
I'm now a full-time writer, and a busy, busy bee. When I have the time, I also periodically eat and drink.
My favorite subjects are books, video games, wine, theatre, and entertainment.

Homeschooled from kindergarten until college, theatre was always something I aspired to and wanted to be involved in. Since my very first home-made productions in kindergarten, I've hoped to get some actual theatre experience. I graduated with a double major in Theatre and English at Bloomsburg University in 2012. Hurray for dreams coming true.
I've been writing obsessively as long as I've been reading obsessively - since 11-12 years of age. People have always complained that, no matter what, I kill my characters at the end of my stories. Oddly enough, I now write comedies. Even more odd, I still kill people off. Old habits die hard. I also love travel. This is me in England. Here I shamelessly promote a restaurant called "Wagamama's" - yum. My favorite pastime is leaning on my hand. |
