And like that, boom. Busy again. And spring break ain't even over yet.
Spring Break has been a blast. For a little while I'd almost believed I'd graduated already. (No such luck.) I've done nothing all break. Nada. Well, nothing school related, anyway. I threw out/donated half of what I own. That's a story in-and-of itself, so I'll let that one lie. I'll just say I got rid of it to make myself happier and leave it go.
This morning I thought I'd gander at my schedule and, whadyaknow! The next week is booked solid! And I mean solid. The only thing that could book it more is to have me starting work at 8am, which I'm only doing for one more day so that's mucho bueno. Between class, work, homework, studying for more midterms, rehearsals for The Shape of Things and Tech for Hotline... yup. 9am-midnight every day next week. Ooooooh joy. Plus I'd like to, yanno, actually work on the PB&J monologue before Jaryn gets to read it. That'd be nice.
If I didn't have classes to mix in with all this, it'd be much easier. The sad thing is, when I run out of classes, I'm also out of opportunities to be involved in college theatre. A friend of mine has already asked me to look over the script for a show he's going to direct this summer... as well as listen to the music for a musical he's directing, but we'll see on that one... and consider being an actor in one or both. I believe it's community theatre, which I'm always up for sponsoring and helping as I can. That'll be more my speed - one show working on, a steady job between that, and a play or two to work on around those two. Rather than throwing class and tests and homework in there. People. Tryin' ta mess me up on poipose, I swears it.
